The antitarnish solution OXIPROTECT Performance JE799 is a galvanic bath. It is excellent suitable as protection system for silver surfaces or low alloyed precious metals. The OXIPROTECT Performance protects effective against oxidations and discolourations. Due to the low coat thickness it is optical absolutely invisible and it acts as a lubricant. The brilliance of the base material is conserved. Contact resistance, solderability and bondability remain almost unaffected. It protects effectively against oxidation and discolourations. Due to the low coat thickness it is optical absolutely invisible. The brilliance of the base material is conserved. Contact resistance and solderability remain almost unaffacted. OXIPROTECT is dirt-repellent and water-resistant and furthermore it improves the scratch resistance of the surfaces. The tarnish protection is an immersion bath that only needs to be heated to 40°C - 45°C and you have a functioning tarnish protection that is very resistant. If this is not enough for you, we can still help, namely with the galvanic tarnish protection OxiProtect Performance JE799! This can even withstand artificially induced oxidation. Another product is the tarnish protection OXIPROTECT JE799. In contrast to JE790, it offers long-lasting protection against discolouration and oxidation on silver surfaces and low-carat gold alloys.

The tarnish protection does not change the colour or shine of the base material and is therefore practically invisible. It is primarily suitable for decorative and technical applications.
