Plating Units

The PICCO+ pen plating machine allows you to apply rhodium, gold and silver to small areas without leaving any stains. For example, you can use it to correct small imperfections.

The handpiece serves as a pen. A felt is inserted into the opening. This is then soaked in the glass container, into which the respective electrolyte was previously filled, and then passed over the item.

The part to be processed must be clamped with the tweezers, which you can also find here. The felts are available in different thicknesses. Please take care not to touch the felts with your fingers, otherwise they will become soiled.

Our pin electroplating equipment

Pen plating is a galvanic process for the precise application of metallic electrolytes. So-called bicolor coatings offer attractive highlights by combining different metal colors. These are usually applied by hand in a laborious process that requires a great deal of skill.

In pin electroplating, the coatings are applied by means of a handpiece. In this way, a high-contrast, spot-free color result is achieved. Our PICCO+ pen plating unit is ideally suited for precisely such partial coatings. Precious metals such as rhodium, gold and silver can thus be applied to small areas without stains using a felt.

The device's LED color indicator makes handling particularly easy and clear. The set is available in a large and a small version. You already own a pen plating unit? Of course, we also offer the matching accessories in individual versions.
