Intensive blackening through
Black pickling
Black pickling is also one of the products used in galvanic post-treatment. It can be used to create blue to black colourations on silver or copper. After coating with black pickling, your workpieces can also be rubbed or polished with pumice powder to create shades.

Post-treatment with black pickling
Simply dip the silver or copper in JE600 black stain to create blue to black colourations. You can then shade the colouring as you wish by rubbing with pumice flour or ordinary polishing. Please note, however, that the goods you wish to process with black stain must not be protected with the JE anti-tarnish baths, as this will protect the goods from the effects of the black stain. And if you still have a small chance of discolouration with JE790, the OxiProtect Performance JE799 tarnish protection will provide complete protection!
The great advantage of our black stain is that it does not change or impair the natural lustre of the coated metal surface. It is only applied in thin layers to maintain the lustre. We deliver the bath ready to use so that you can apply it immediately. However, your goods should not have been treated with anti-tarnish baths beforehand, as these prevent the black pickle from working. However, you can apply a tarnish protection afterwards.
